FROM THE EAST – THE PILLAR OF WISDOM

Greetings Brethren,

After our long shutdown with Covid-19, the Lodge is getting back on track, and applications for Masonry show that we are getting very busy.  I urge all of you to contact the officers of our Lodge, and see what help you may be able to offer toward getting this work done for our new brethren.

In addition, there will be several special things coming up like a Youth event, the Golden Veterans event as well as the Roll Call event.  We will also need assistance for these.  Since our 100-year university is fast approaching, we will also need our senior members help with the Lodge history information.

We are also receiving requests to help operate the child ID Booth around town, and at community events.  This is a great way for us to be recognized within our community.  I urge you to assist us so that the community can get to know us as well.

In closing brethren, we are a fraternal organization that believes in strong ties within our communities.  This can only be accomplished if we all come together to support these many endeavors.

Fraternally Yours,

Tony Shelton, PM

Master

FROM THE WEST – THE PILLAR OF STRENGTH

Brethren,

October 13, 2021 marks our Lodge’s 100th Year Anniversary.  As we plan for an open house celebration, I am looking for anyone who may have photographs of past Lodge events.  It is my hope to obtain copies of as many photographs as possible for inclusion in a slideshow presentation.

If you have any photographs you would like to share, please contact me so arrangements can be made to obtain copies of them.

Fraternally,

Kelly Dixon, Kd.12682@gmail.com

Senior Warden

FROM THE SOUTH – THE PILLAR OF BEAUTY

Brethren,

Exciting things are happening.  I’m pleased to say that the Lodge is working really hard on bringing in new brothers.  This month we should be reading a few, (4-5 or so), new petitions for membership.  The Lodge officers are hard at work preparing to do all these first degrees coming up soon.

I know it’s been some time, but we all can use the practice.  I encourage not only the officers, but anyone to come down to the Ritual practices and like me, learn something new.  I’d would also like to thank our Officer’s coach Matt Ernst, for his dedication to these Ritual practices.

I am looking forward to the Checker’s Tournament we have scheduled with our local Job’s Daughters Bethel, at the end of July.  Which by the time you read this, we will know the winner.  I hope all who can, will show up and watch the games.  It is an exciting time to be able to get back to our fun activities. Oh, did I mention there was going to be ice cream served up by the losers.  So, we shall see who the lucky group will be!!!!

In closing my brothers, good things are happing at the Lodge and it would be wonderful to see more of our brothers again.  I know some of you can’t always make it, but when you do it’s sure great to see you all.

Fraternally,

Robert W. Leach

Junior Warden
